At NPR, I deal with digital content and asset workflows for production and long-term archiving. I also work with journalists to help with deadline research, so I have the daily experience of being both a system maintainer and a user of maintained systems. I'm particularly interested in how systems intersect with issues of equity, inclusion/exclusion, labor, and privacy/personhood.
