A Composite Work: Undergraduates in Digital Humanities Research
Using the development of a digital historical atlas of US history, American Panorama, as a case study, this presentation will highlight the opportunities that digital humanities projects afford undergraduates to become involved in collaborative projects that provide them opportunities to both develop deeper research skills and acquire useful technical expertise.

Grinnell In China : Bringing Undergraduates to Archival Research
Grinnell College has a long relationship with China dating back to the late eighteen hundreds. These materials are in archival collections in folders in boxes in the vault. A history professor proposed working with students and library staff to digitize the collections to support research and exhibits.
